Mission
The Florida KeysKeeper, Inc. is committed to the protection of the environment of the Florida Keys with a particular focus on the fish populations and the marine environment that supports them.
KeysKeeper is active in several areas. From its inception, it has participated in those regulatory processes – both state and federal – that govern fishing. It is active in local community outreach efforts, and the 10 year review process that is underway in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Lastly, KeysKeeper is involved with a variety of special programs that advance public awareness, add to existing protections, initiate restoration efforts, and in general husband the unique marine resource that is the Keys.
